Compilation!

Hi there :>

See the title? I decided to make a compilation post because I'm SO behind and, more important, now I'm hating the squared shape I had months ago :D

This one, I liked it so much: it's made of a purple creme, "Neon Lilac" by H&M and one of the first polishes Sabbatha sent me centuries ago <3, Lovely Color Mania n. 173.

That little H&M bottle was in a set of four or five, if I don't get wrong (yellow, orange, pink, purple and... ?), I didn't bought it, but a lovely girl gave four of them to me.

I really like this shade of purple :> and that Lovely has the perfect coloured base to show its chunky warm gold glitters on.

Next one, I wanted to try that pink Shaka I showed you in my last post, "Little Women", but you know, this Peppa Pig pink was definitely too much on its own, so I applied my beloved green flakies from Inglot on some nails.

Ok, a better look is coming :D

You know (maybe) I resist the urge to try new polishes every time I buy them, because I have varnishes purchased YEARS ago and still never even tried on... Looks like that time I caved and wore like TWO new shades in a row, how crazy I am! :D

This is the extracute Wet n Wild Megalast E2133 "On A Trip", who doesn't love a good lavender colour?

Later I added something to make it more interesting, despite my short nails of the period:

Unfortunately, I have no idea which blue is that Kiko, maybe n. 335? I don't know, but I think you can live with it and go on in your life anyway.

I made a classic gradient and I LOVED it!

I think I'll publish another post like this, because I have many more manis done in the past (it means: the first months of 2014), hope you'll like them :>

"some" "new" bottles...

HELLO!
Yes, I know, sometimes I die and sometimes I come alive, I'm sorry, but life can be busy...

These bottles are more than "some", and no more "new", at least for me, haha, but if you're interested in names and colours, keep reading!

Wjcon sand glittery laquers!
This is an italian makeup brand, similar to Kiko, but interesting the same :D
I don't own much items because its stores are located far from my usual paths, but that time I knew I wanted to try their sands!

- n. 805: gold-burgundy sand;
- n. 808: gold-purple-navy blue sand;
- n. 807: green-lilac-teal sand;
- n. 804: deep forest green-purple/pink duochrome sand!
- n. ? : lol, last one was an emerald varnish I can't find anywhere in my house, sorry!

I think I bought these like one year ago, when sands were at their peak, you know now there are many choises out there, but I still didn't wear none of them... I'm slowly getting into polishes again.

The blue wagon!

I'll never lose my blue love, so from time to time I see blues I want (and buy), next pic shows the latest ones:

From top:

- Sephora Degradé Tie Dye n. 05, transparent blue for layerings. I hate Sephora, this is a gift :D

- Maybelline Color Show Polka Dots n. 198 "Shooting Stars": you know what? I don't like white hexagon glitters, but I liked the overall effect in the bottle, we'll see if it will be the same on nails :D

- H&M "Moonlight": deep teal-purple/pinkduochrome. My pic sucks, but it's a GREAT colour, check some swatches on the web!

- Kiko Laser Nail Lacquer n. 434: from the Dark Heroin collection, blue-violet duochrome. I have the feeling it's a little useless for me, haha, but I don't want to check if I have something like it now (probaly). It's SO vibrant.

- Wet n Wild Wild Shine E417F "Eggplant Frost": not sure if it's a good thing, but I remember I had a lipgloss exactly like this colour when I was very young, and I even wore it many times, before my mum decided I looked hilarious :D
This is a DEEP purple base with deep blue shimmer, probably yeah, a little frosty, but not that much (maybe).

- H&M "Serenity Now": this is like the new version of my beloved "Blue My Mind", one my favourites blues of all time!
Since that "Serenity Now" is slightly darker than "Blue My Mind", I made my cap swatches, see below:

Unofrtunately my camera can't keep the royal tinge of these blues, anyway you can see the difference: on the left, "Serenity Now", on the right "Blue My Mind".

Next, "Eggplant Frost" reminded me of Savina "Purple Prince", so I made a comparison:

Savina has less shimmer, I think it's more purple in general, while "Eggplant Frost" has more shimmer, and it's more visible the difference between base and metallic blue. They're different.

Another comparison: H&M "Moonlight" and Essence "Miss Universe":

They're THE SAME thing, and I didn't notice it until the swatches were before my eyes. *gh*

Ok, next batch, a cool one:

From left:

- Shaka "Rapture": nice cool powder medium blue.

- "Little Women": cool pastel pink with a subtle white shimmer (not visible in my pic).

- "Cerulean Sins": lol, my blue collection can be named like that :D This is an electric dark blue creme.

- Wet n Wild Megalast E2133 "On A Trip": the perfect lavender hue.

Last batch, the minted one:

From left:

- Prestige Wonder Gloss NLW - 200 "Sea Breeze": jade green creme, a little greener in real life than my picture.

- H&M "Green Bluish": totally useless polish, I bought it because I liked the bottle full of those duochromes glitters, but I know they're too sparse in the clear base to achieve the same effect on nails (maybe with 10 layers?). I don't know, I think I'll use it on tips OR on top of another glittery nailpolish :>

- Kiko Quick Dry n. 835: this is a jade hue too, but much greener than Prestige; I tried to tweak the picture, but you know these colours are impossible to reproduce, even more if you have a crappy camera like me.

Plus, these are almost neon colours, so camera gets crazier :D

Latest buyings :>

Pupa n. 032, bought when Pupa put holos and others on sale, and Layla "Flash Black", brought to me (at a lower price) by Stregalice <3

H&M "Fantasy Ocean", still don't know if it's the tenth teal-with-gold-shimmer I own...

Next, the new Shakas: together with the holos, Shaka released some "collections": the only one I could recognize is the one dedicated to planets, but honestly I don't know the others - and I repeat, Shaka's site is awful.
Anyway:

Shaka n. 660 "Ternder" (spelling mistake, I suppose :D), n. 670 "Deep Passion" (look!), n. 775 "Forever Green", n. 860 "Universe" (the one in the "planets" collection).

These colours are to die for, so I decided to make some cap-swatches:
 

N. 860 "Universe" has a dark teal base with electric blue shimmer *_*
N. 660 "Ternder" has a beautiful and glowing pink accent in a lavender base; a little watery, though.

Next, the masterpiece, in my humble opinion:

N. 670 "Deep Passion" has a blue base and DEEP red shimmer, I BET this will be STUNNING once on my nails <3 <3 <3

N. 775 "Forever Green" looks teal in the bottle and grass green on cap, but I've discovered it's a blued green jelly: here I put just one coat (quite saturated!), I think two coats will be enough and more similar to bottle's colour, even if not so dark.

Next, thanks to a blogger whose name I can't recall now, I bought the polish on the left straight after I read her post on Rimmel's "Night Before" :D

Since that I already own "Blue Me Away", I decided for a small comparison:

"Night Before" is darker and less blue, while "Blue Me Away" is absolutely blue °_°

Shimmer (which is lightly duochrome, by the way) is the very same, I think, only inserted in a different jellish base.

Some lovely italian girls send me "Grumpy" from the Snow White Essence LE, you all know how much I love electric blues <3

And I picked a couple of Basic Beauty for me, there were an offer on all the makeup items...

N. 76, the purple one, is VERY dark, very vampy.
N. 67PE, is a magenta PURE jelly (picture show it lighter). Yes, it's the third pink jelly from BB I own, I'll do a comparison in the future when I'll come back home.
BB, why don't you make more colours in jelly formula? :°°°

Italy to teh rescue

Yeah, italian nailpolish world is gradually trying to go after the beauty trends which pop out (or popped out) in the rest of the world.
You can see that by looking at the first picture :D

Anyway, I'm pretty happy, I always wanted some Nfu-Oh flakies (and still want a couple more), but now Layla brought us this gorgeous mix, together with other glitter combos (green one is stunning too), you can see them here.

One downside, as usual, the price: €8, more than a regular Ceramic, which is like €7 or €7,50, I don't remember.

On the opposite, Kiko launched 40 new shades, but this time I picked just two:

(left, n. 385; right, n. 358)

Yes, there's a peach one :D
I like it, and given that I wear mostly black, sometimes with touchs of cold colours, I thought it can look good on my nails.
I suddenly recalled another blue in my stash which could have be too similar to n. 385, but it's not that similar:

N. 385 compared with "Chuck" by Essence.
They're both a slightly muted blue, but not the same shade.

Lastly, a great surprise from Elsa, which sent me this lavender beauty I really liked, together with a deep blue (n. 208 "Pier 17") from NYC °_°

"Irreplaceable" and "Pop Pastel Blue" were a little add on my way to the supermarket :D

Latest adds and comparisons :>

Mmmh, maybe I've lost the count of my bottles, don't know why, but suddenly I'm not sure anymore of the total you can read on the left column...
Anyway, I added interesting things to my collection :>

The first I introduce you, a VERY nice one from Prestige, a brand I don't buy from very often, but it's somehow good and of an average quality.
This is the first nailpolish I buy from them, but they have this line too, with some original shades.

1) Orly "Snowcone";

2) Prestige - Nail Bijoux n. 24 "St. Barth";

3) Kiko n. 339.

Well, you can see it's different from the other periwinkles I own, this little Bijoux is very bright and saturated (in picture it's duller, but this one made my camera crazy), love at first sight *_*
"Snowcone" is bluer, while n. 339 (compared here) is dustier and lighter.

These Nail Bijoux are a new line of little bottles at €2,50 (or so), similar to the ones from Deborah, the Prêt à Porter range; they're only 4,5 ml, and I didn't find other appealing colours, but if you wanna check them out, here you can find an official picture (not from the official site!), though I think it isn't so accurate colour wise - look at the one I pictured above, and the corresponding in the image.


Second round is for an Essence one, "Dress For a Moment":

1) China Glaze "Agent Lavender";

2) Essence "Dress For a Moment";

3) Essence "No More Drama".

I compared "Dress For a Moment" with these two because I thought it was a dupe of something else in my stash, but... no, luckily; "Agent Lavender" is a tad bluer, and "No More Drama" has a reddish touch in it.


Last (but not least, haha, always dreamed to write this), another gem from BeYu!

While searching for other n. 209, this bottle caught my attention. Thanks a bunch, see for yourself!

Eh, nothing more to say, and SORRY for the pic-bombing, I know there are too many pictures.
Is this a duochrome? A trichrome? Who cares? And those tiny glitters?

Obviously, there was one bottle only in that stand, and I didn't found others in the following Douglas I visited...
I'll continue to search for them in the future.
But if you have a Douglas near you, look for n. 381, besides than n. 209!

Kiko - n. 338

Another shade so difficult to picture!

This is Kiko n. 338, the classic bright lavender colour:

Not too much to say about it, it's p e r f e c t: two coats without top coat, see it for yourself, it's leveled and uniform, dries quickly (but I use the Essence drops) and that's it!
It goes so well with tanned skin!

A colour like this, which is very vivid, changes under various types of light: above is in mid-full sun, below is under a halogen lamp:

China Glaze - Agent Lavender + flakies

Fantastic colour and you know I love those nail-art flakies I already used :>

I'm not into intricate details on nails, and this time I decided for a "french-flakie" mani!

"Agent Lavender" is a perfect light lavender pastel, formula's easy to apply, no streaks, no mess.

Two coats of polish, and it covers all well, I don't have complaints about it!

These are the flakies I used, from Fontana Contarini's range for nailart. I love the colour base, they go so well with cold shades!

During these days other lovely ladies gave me some awards!
I don't "do" them, especially if they require talking about me, simply because I'm a reserved person, plus from a couple of weeks I'm terribly busy "outside", but obviously I appreciate them and the people who decide my blog is worth some attention :>

juntasperonorevueltas gave me a Sunshine Award: I like these girls because not only they're kind, honest and write clear and complete reviews, but they have a beautiful cat too :D
Same award from todoslosesmaltessonpocos, which I didn't know before, but I completely agree with this name :D
Varnish Me gave me a Top10 Award: I tried to think about one thing I like in ten different versions, but ten is a big number for me :D (ok, not regarding nail polishes, but in that case I should write a Top100 or so...)
