Kiko - Frozen n. 06 + Ozotic Pro - Elytra n. 528 + Kleancolor - Chunky Holo Purple

| | Comments: (13)

... This is the little touch of colour I mentioned in my previous post :D

Since we're having sunny days, after the snow, glitters called me and I replied :D

(full sun)

I often see in blogs how much beautiful is layering different coloured flakies, but I don't have them (well, at least not the most common types), so I thought about these duochromy glitters.

(daylight)

See how these three buddies look like combined together?

I layered them in a sandwich mode: Ozotic/Kleancolor/Ozotic/Kleancolor/Ozotic.
My first idea was to apply two layers each, but in the end I've noticed that the glitters contained in the Kleancolor are bigger than the Ozotic's, so I had to apply a third coat of Ozotic to let them show better.

(full sun)

But final result is so beautiful, like a black Carnival :D
I see every colour of the spectrum ♥

(low light)

Clearly, camera can't catch all the single glistens, so you had to imagine that there are hundreds of sparkles on the nails in addition to the ones you see in my pictures.

(blurred on the left, it appears like a multicolour foil :>)

What about this mani in artificial light? *_*

And look at the colour changes!

Well, a little over the top, but it all depends on your personality, plus I've shortened my nails...
Yes, sometimes I do think that darker/crazy shades look a little better with shorter nails.

Have a nice day/night/whatever and thanks for your attention ;¬)

Rimmel - Green With Envy + Ozotic - n. 504

| | Comments: (3)

Picture heavy post this time, sorry in advance if this is a bother for any of you :^/

First of all, I like layerings, they're fun and make me use my polishes a LOT more than just simply slapping them one by one every week :>

These are three coats of "Green With Envy" plus two coats of n. 504:

(daylight)

Same here, but in artificial light, it was SO dark outside in the morning...

(artificial light)

This combo was born totally random because of... lacking of time :D
One sunday evening (well, night), I decided to apply this Rimmel, which is a BOMB of aqua-emerald metallic green polish; problem is that it requires at least three coats (so sheer!), and it dries very slowly: result, you get bubbles >.<

Here it is "Green With Envy" on its own, bubbles and everything :D

(artificial light)

Another shade so hard to picture: it's a tad greener in real life, but you can see it has a blue side too. ♥_♥

I wore it alone for a day, but I hate bubbles, so I tried to cover them up with something else; so why not to choose a multichrome polish?
You don't always had to wear them over a black, they're AMAZING over lighter colours too!

Next two pictures are just one coat of n. 504, how beautiful?
N. 504 lays a purple veil over the green *_*

(artificial light)

But remember n. 504 is a multichrome, from purple to orange/gold, look at those colours!

(artificial light)

After two days, I decided to add another coat of n. 504... Perfection!
Here I managed to capture all the colours, it really has that oil slick appearance on surface and it's even way more visible to the naked eye!

(daylight)

It changes a little from indoor lighting to outdoor, indoor is deeper and much more intense, outdoor (overcast) it shows more colours:

Unfortunately, sun didn't show up too much these days, I bet this would be fantastic in full sun, but, oh well, I'll retry it in spring.

"Green With Envy" alone is a great colour, just be sure to have some time to let it dry well in between coats :>

Have a nice day/night/whatever and thanks for your attention ;¬)

China Glaze - Emerald Sparkle + Ozotic Pro - Elytra n. 528

| | Comments: (11)

Hi again :>

This is the something else I layered over "Emerald Sparkle", I chose one of the best in my stash: Elytra n. 528!

Please note that my camera isn't the best, plus glitters are painful to photograph, especially these Elytra, later I'll explain why :>

(full sun)

Multichrome glittah party *________________*

(full sun)

Daylight:

Unfortunately, it looks like glitters are too spare on the nails, but you see that because pictures show you just the sparkling ones; to the naked eye, you can see the glitters of "Emerald Sparkle" under the ones of n. 528 melted together, like this:

(blurred photo, but shows well deepness of colours!)

Even if blurred, pic above is the best representation of the overall effect. Stunning, don't you find?

Daylight again:

What about it in shade? Perfection, I see every colour in low light!

Too many pictures, I know, but I hope they helped you noticing the awesomeness of n. 528 when layered, and you don't have to apply it necessarily over a black base :>
These are two coats of n. 528 over three coats of "Emerald Sparkle".

Some beauty and some love

Do you need some beauty? I have it!
Ladies and - ehm - gentlemen, Ozotic Pro n. 504 and n. 528:

(bottom part of the image, n. 528 left, n. 504 right)

Clearly nail polish beauty :>
I treated myself for my birthday these two magnificent shades, ordered from the australian site PicturePolish.
For the italian readers, parcel took almost one month in total (from the dispatch date, 27th april) to arrive here (25th may). Long wait, but it's worth it.

If you are here you all know there are many stunning shades from Ozotic Pro, but I learned from this post that they're not all unique; rare, but not unique. It isn't a flaw, just thought you'd like to know it.
Briefly, n. 505 is a dupe of Sally Hansen's "Turquoise Opal" and n. 506 is a dupe of "Garnet Lapis".

Given that I recently got them in a swap, I left just n. 503 and n. 504 in my wishlist; the time I decided to order a couple of bottles, n. 503 wasn't available (you can admire it here), so I chose n. 504, which is basically a 16ml of blue/purple-to-orange/gold multichrome, more or less like this:

Lol :D

The Elytra collection (three shades available) is more than gorgeous: 16ml of MULTICHROMATIC GLITTERS in a clear base.
I chose n. 528, which is a progression of turquoise-to-purple-to-acid-green, like this:

How not to love them?
That's it, and picture speaks for itself; google this brand and you'll be astonished if you didn't see it before.
I have another couple of lemmings from Ozotic Pro, so I'll make a new order as soon as I can.

Now, the "love" part: first of all, I want to thank all the people who chose to be a regular READER (I never liked the word "follower") of my little blog :>

I received some awards from some nice bloggers out there and even if I don't "do" them, I would like to thank these ladies for their kindness, it's good to be appreciated by someone :>
Colorfulvanity gave me a Versatile Award, Maki a Kreativ Award, GothamPolish a Liebster Blog and One Lovely Blog Award.
Thank you again, girls :^]
I don't want to choose one or more blogs in particular, as I read many many blogs and everyone has their own strong point, so you can browse my link list and if you don't know a name, click on it and you'll certainly find a very good job in taking pictures, or describing a product, or being silly... Well then, all you need in life, right? :D

Have a nice day/night/whatever and thanks for your attention ;¬)
