Compilation!

Hi there :>

See the title? I decided to make a compilation post because I'm SO behind and, more important, now I'm hating the squared shape I had months ago :D

This one, I liked it so much: it's made of a purple creme, "Neon Lilac" by H&M and one of the first polishes Sabbatha sent me centuries ago <3, Lovely Color Mania n. 173.

That little H&M bottle was in a set of four or five, if I don't get wrong (yellow, orange, pink, purple and... ?), I didn't bought it, but a lovely girl gave four of them to me.

I really like this shade of purple :> and that Lovely has the perfect coloured base to show its chunky warm gold glitters on.

Next one, I wanted to try that pink Shaka I showed you in my last post, "Little Women", but you know, this Peppa Pig pink was definitely too much on its own, so I applied my beloved green flakies from Inglot on some nails.

Too girly anyway, eh? -.-°

Ok, a better look is coming :D

You know (maybe) I resist the urge to try new polishes every time I buy them, because I have varnishes purchased YEARS ago and still never even tried on... Looks like that time I caved and wore like TWO new shades in a row, how crazy I am! :D

This is the extracute Wet n Wild Megalast E2133 "On A Trip", who doesn't love a good lavender colour?

Later I added something to make it more interesting, despite my short nails of the period:

Unfortunately, I have no idea which blue is that Kiko, maybe n. 335? I don't know, but I think you can live with it and go on in your life anyway.

I made a classic gradient and I LOVED it!

I think I'll publish another post like this, because I have many more manis done in the past (it means: the first months of 2014), hope you'll like them :>

Lovely - Crystal Strenght n. 402

HELLO!

Did you notice by chance I'm quite busy these... months weeks?
Makeup school is a mess, and I must admit it's sometimes (MANY times!) so exhausting, especially if you later have to keep your house clean, cuddle your cat, make dinners, etc., etc. etc. :D

But my love for nailpolishes is still alive and I keep taking pictures of my coloured jewels-for-nails *_*

 

 

This one is a precious bottle from Poland (who knows who sent me this? :D ), I wore it for a wedding in July 2013, where I had a toned down, so-neutral outift and I needed just a little bright touch on me:

  

Anyway, this is one of my favourite nailpolishes of all time: jelly seagreeen base, duochrome glassfleck-ish glitters, LOVE at a first sight °_°

See? Translucent nails ♥.♥

I think I applied three coats, not a problem in drying time, I think it also lasted good on me for many days, as I took pics of it after I returned home :>

Nice colour, uh? Fresh and happy :>

Now let's hope to see you more often than every two months >.<

Umpteenth (nail)Polish swap :D

Since I've started reading cosmetics blogs, I've always looked at foreign products like something I could never have - and use! -, so I'm very grateful to Sabbatha for giving me trust since the beginning :D <3

Sooo, here's our latest swap, well, this is what I got:

 

We started swapping makeup items too, some time ago, since we both love paint our faces :D
But these are the Polish gems:

1) Max Factor "Fantasy Fire", lol, I sent her one and she sent me another one, useful swap :D

2) Eveline Colour Instant n. 669, forest green jelly base with silver microshimmer °_°

5) NYC n. 140 "Empire State Blue", blue with emerald shimmer *_________* (never seen in Italy, even if we have NYC...) I tried it on paper, it isn't so pigmented, so I know it will be stunning on top of something else too :>

6) Colour Alike n. 466, see swatches here :>

7) Colour Alike n. 445, see swatches here :> These two CA look almost the same above, but they're not, it's just that these colours are always so tricky to represent in pictures... Anyway, n. 466 is greener and more sparkly.

Sabbatha also sent me some Nfu-Oh decants...
Yeah, these days we have more flakies choices, even in Italy, but I think these are still the best *_*

I have to thank her not only for all the nailstuff she gets me, but also for having helped me with Fyrinnae eyeshadows.
Fyrinnae has the best shades, in my opinion, and I always wanted to try them, but I'm in Italy, which means: no shipping to our country (because our postal service sucks in international shippings) (not to mention customs taxes because of cosmetic items, etc...).

So I asked Sabbatha to buy some colours for me (hey, I paid her, don't worry :D ), and she kindly did it <3
Just one flaw: their site is horrible and unreliable: one day it works, the day(S) after is completely off >.<

These are the colours I bought for myself, all full size jars (my hand shown for dimensions):

From top:

- Shenanigans (really complex rusty old gold);

- Bitey Tyrannosaur (acid green with gold shimmer);

- Callipygian (blackened blue base with teal-emerald shimmer);

- Mephisto (almost BEST eyeshadow of all time! Blue base and red-purple-bronze shimmer *____*, check swatches! )

- Parental Advisory (electric PURPLE with pink shimmer).

Closer look, because they're worthy :D

I particularly love that these jars are pretty huge: despite Sabbatha picked samples of these for herself and a friend (this beautiful and VERY talented girl :> ), they're full, they'll last me a whole life.

ITALIANE! (detto alla Totò): se avete amici/parenti/amanti oltreconfine, chiedete di farvi da tramite per acquistare qualcuno di questi ombretti! Non costano molto, i colori sono parecchi, molto particolari anche nei riflessi e si possono sovrapporre a matite, basi colorate, gel eyeliner, etc; in più le dimensioni delle scatoline sono decisamente interessanti.

Bisogna solo avere un po' di pazienza con il sito, il quale sembra essere gestito dallo Stato italiano, poiché funziona a cavolo (alcuni giorni è del tutto offline, altri non fa completare gli ordini, a volte non ti fa pagare, etc.). 

Ma ne vale la pena ;>

Sabbatha also sent me samples of colours she chose for herself (the little jars with the orange labels in the first picture of this post), and added a Kobo baked violet eyeshadow, and samples of these pretty pigments :>

Kiko n. 336 + Lovely Color Mania n. 117

BLINDING pictures, I know, but it's not my fault :>

As always, my poor little camera can't catch all colours properly, and dark-yet-bright inky blues represent a fight between what reality is and what my camera sees :D

This is two coats (and ½, just to cover residual bald spots) of Kiko n. 336 plus two coats of Lovely Color Mania n. 117, a blurple jelly packed with pink (and green when angled) fine glitters.
Result: PURE LOVE.

Sabbatha gave me her bottle of this little gem in our first swap, because I fell in love with it the same istant I saw it on her blog (thank you, you're so kind ^_^), and now that the sun finally is showing up, I decided to use it!

In the daylight:

AS ALWAYS, my camera pick these kind of blues too lightly, so next pics are the closest to reality I can show you.
It's like with Orly's "Royal Navy": to the naked eye, it's dark yet bright, very ELECTRIC, but in pics it's lighter and more vibrant.

Direct artificial light:

Kiko n. 336 is a tad lighter than the base of n. 117; n. 117 contains duochrome glitters - see the green in the low right corner of the bottle? ♥

This is n. 336 alone, it's called "Blu elettrico" and I can say it's REALLY violently electric!

With n. 117 on top, which is a tad purplier, it becomes more vivid (if possible) AND darker.
I know you know what I'm talking about...
You just had to imagine this mani as dark and blurple as the bottle I'm holding in the next pic.

Formula of n.336 is a little runny and I had difficulties during application, so clean-up required much more time than the other manis, but in this case... Who cares :^D


EDIT about wear: 3-4-5 days without particular problems, I just had some chips because of nail's peelings.
